Vudu - Movies & TV App Reviews

I have a lot of shows on this app I like how it is easy to use. I dont like that when I go to download shows I own there is always an error. I dont like that when i am on my cellular data that it wont play my shows. I would use this app and buy more shows on it if I knew I could download but until they fix this I will have to stay with amazon movie app for buying shows.

Ive had the app for a little while and while its nice and pretty to look at, its very frustrating for a consumer who would like to watch their movies when they are offline how a digital download is supposed to be. If one cant watch the movies they purchase offline, it doesnt make sense to pay the extra money for the download if its not going to work. I would not recommend this app for anyone who is traveling or would rather not use all their data watching a movie.

I love how they added the Chromecast that was a nice touch but I hated the fact you had to BUY the movies that is stupid!!

I just bought an episode and was looking forward to watching it tonight but an error notice said it couldnt air. I get that, but why have it and fool ur potential customers with this :( Its hard to trust any on line companies now. No one to call, or email. It used to be fun and user friendly. Disappointed with this. ;( so now I just lost some money I cant get back But now I know. Dont get anything from here :(

There is an issue with downloading your movies. You might get one maybe two but it will most always error on the third after you get the error you have to uninstall the app an reinstall to get it to work then the same thing happens again after a few movies. This is very annoying please fix this then 5 stars TY

So I downloaded this app thinking that I was gonna be able to watch free episodes of my favorite shows, like it said, like I read before I logged in. Instead what happened was I clicked on the episode I wanted and this little thing came up and said, "how do I watch this?" so thinking, "well how do I watch this" I clicked on it, and then it was like no you have to pay for it lol bye. I have spent numerous hours trying to find one season on one show and I thought that this was gonna be it, it was not. This app is the false Shepard, do not let it lead you astray...

we need an app for apple tv 4th generation

Nothing downloads. Deleted and reinstalled and restarted blah blah blah. Useless app right now.

The Application is a total waste when it comes to streaming your digital content. The Customer support is NONE existent. I have reported bugs with streaming on Chromecast on SD and HDX and i have never got any replies. Also after a year of constant reports every month the issues still remain. So far os the ONLY digital video application with this issue. NO other apps like Flixter, Disney Movies App, Hulu, Netflix have any issues. The VUDU apps drops the stream after 10 to 15mnts. The stream just stops and goes back to the VUDU screen. I have 40mbps of ethernet and no other service has any issues. Simply terrible support all around...

Ive had this app for years. I have 2000 movies in my Vudu. I, however cannot download any of them on my IPad Pro. I get a download error message every time. It has been brought up by many people on Vudu forums and has yet to be fixed. Extremely disappointed in Vudu. And no, deleting and re downloading the app does not work either. Still no downloads!!

Seriously, why does the app constantly log you out? Is it that bad? Cant believe it is a security feature that HBO, Netflix and others do not deem worthy. And you want it to allow location services? Why would I want to give you access to that for a video app?

Vudu is the biggest waste of time and effort around. Their greed forces people to use digital download codes on their product only. Why not be a good company and let the user decide which program (iTunes) they want to use? Maybe because no one would use this crappy app.

Hasnt worked in months. Will not allow me to log in whether on cell data or on wifi.

This app is now the worst. With regret will stop using, and weve spent so much money on movies with them. Cant download onto my iPad for travel. But, iTunes works great.... and iTunes doesnt have any download failures. iTunes takes a fraction of the time to download movies compared to vudu. Just wish I could convert all my vudu movies to iTunes.

I spend a lot of money to get early access to many movies and this app really makes it easy to download from your library vs. rent again on iTunes or not have access to the VUDU library that (mine keeps growing). But if you have VUDU on your HDTV this is a must for you to maximize the other alternative to iTunes

The offline downloading and online streaming is an absolute disaster. I have yet to download or stream any movie that I own under many different Wi-Fi locations (Including my own 100Mbps speed). Fix your app!!!

If you own the app you know what this is. You try to download for offline play and bam you cant. Whats the use paying for a movie if you cant watch it whenever you want?

Purchased a newly released movie in HDX. Given I have a brand new Samsung UHD tv I shouldnt have issues streaming anything. Right at the last 10 climatic minutes of this movie it freezes up, skips, and errors out repeatedly. Horrible streaming service, and Ill be purchasing my movies elsewhere in the future.
