Vudu - Movies & TV App Reviews

This app is great for watching and downloading my movies, but it drains my battery like crazy even if I havent opened the app all day! 20% of battery was used by Vudu running in the background. What the heck are they doing in the background that is draining this much battery??!!? Please fix!!!!

Just get the 0xA3 error.

Cant view movies Ive bought. Preparing for trip, I was hoping to load movies on my iPad. I bought one movie, and downloaded it successfully. All other movies in my library would not download. A useless error code is displayed, which doesnt clear anything up. I have a request into support, which I hope they can fix before I have to leave.

New review- okay I have had this app for years now I have over 200 movies on here! App work great and I love that I can airplay from my iPad or iPhone to my Apple TV! Now its time to bring in app purchases to the app whats taking so long!! _____________________________________________ Old review- So far the app is nice new sleek design and easy to use, I am happy you guys added AirPlay for all us apply TV users, but the AirPlay button needs to be fixed, its hiding in the corner and you cant really tap it unless you play/pause the movie then click on it, you guys need to bring it down to the control button area so it can be accessible, besides that the app is great!!

Worst, slowest, crappiest quality media app ever. Im so glad I paid extra for the DVD so that I could ALSO get the worthless digital copy and watch it in small laggy segments. One last thing, if you insist on having me stare at the loading circle thing every 8 minutes, make it a freaking circle and not the worst loading screen ever.

Ive updated everything I can to get my location correct, but it keeps saying Location doesnt match billing address. Fix this please. Deleted and will try down the road. Oh the no purchase from app also makes this app mostly useless.

I have this app on my iPhone, iPad and through roku. This is an amazing app. I have a big collection of dvds and blu-rays. Im able to downsize my collection by going digital. The picture quality is very good on all devices unless you can standard. I even download one to my iPad and played without any internet service. The only thing the download takes a little while. Other than that it works great.

Great app, but Vudu needs a way to make it easier to fast forward and rewind streaming video.

Please figure out Scan to Digital on the App, its REALLY frustrating to sit here like an IDIOT scanning barcodes at my house and nothing goes through. I checked my account multiple times, address is correct and I checked my location in my phone, I am pinging the proper location. What gives?

Can't download movies I paid for. Wtf

I bought Fate of the Furious movie with digital bonus content & redeemed the code on Vudu. It doesnt play the movie.

Cannot download movies to watch online!!!!!! When will this be fixed. I see complaints regarding the same thing that go back years!

I have tried to download movies several times, movies I have paid for. The app will not allow me to do so. I have done a LOT of troubleshooting, nothing seems to work, I continue to get error messages. Dont buy movies or TV through Vudu, use iTunes instead.

I am giving this app one star because the biggest feature, downloading movies to my device, doesnt work. It always worked amazingly until the May 8th update which seemed to only add an advertising strip for Walmart. So instead of trying to sell me useless crap that is somewhat related to my movies, how about doing what you are supposed to do and letting me watch my movies. Also, I wouldnt be writing this review if someone in their customer service department would have even replied to my numerous emails about the issue I am having.

Downloads for offline viewing is broken and has been broken for a quite a while---I gave up on it about 2-3 years ago, came back to try it again--still broken!! Please fix!!

Ive come to hate this app. I refuse to buy movies via vudu because you cant seem to download them. I converted a ton of my movies (which vudu said for 90% they needed to verify but they never do). Short version vudu takes your money and says you can stream your movies but you cant keep them. So if you like downloading movies for watching when there is no wifi or dont want to use data, dont get vudu. The only voodoo is why I wasted money on movies I already owned while vudu doesnt answer emails and keeps your stuff from you. They dont even have a real problem FAQ just an F and U.

Disk to digital scanner keeps saying its unable to work at this time please try again later… Its been over a week now ...lets get an update out?!

As I try to download movies on to my ipad, I keep getting the message "Download Failed (0xA3). Please fix whatever is causing this so I can download movies I have paid for to my device. Thanks.
