Vudu - Movies & TV App Reviews

It wont even show you the prices to rent or buy movies on the phone app. I am not sure what the point of the app is. You can browse to see if a movie is on Vudu I guess, but if you cant see the price then you still have to look it up somewhere else.

Offline play is broken in two major ways 1. Downloads frequently "fail" with an obscure error code 2. Even when downloads work, you need an internet connection to begin playback

Can not watch any of the movies I pay for because of a constant error message "network problem". If you dont want to fix these problems than Ill give my money to apple for theyre movies, Ive never had a problem watching any movie off itunes.

Mobile Disc to Digital doesnt seem to work ?

Worked great till now. Cant download any movies.

I used to have a lot of problems playing movies when I first tried it. Now it works no problem, its great! Its still missing something, the subtitles and language options that the DVDs come with. In the meantime Ill wait.

We got VUDU when it first started. There were no limitations on devices (my whole family has iPads & iPhones and theres 7 of us!) and my family could watch whatever they want whenever they want on whatever device they want. Now I spend my days managing freaking devices because we are limited to JUST 8!! Absolutely insane!!! If I could transfer my purchases to another service I would do it in a heartbeat!

Lately I download one, maybe two movies before I get a "Download failed: Error 0xA3" message and I have to uninstall the app and reinstall to download again. Its getting really old! Reading threads on the Vudu blog show this has been a problem since the beginning of the year!! Come on, Guys.

I used to love this app. It did everything I needed when it came to movies and tv shows. Now I cant download anything because I just get an error (whether on wifi or cellular data). Please fix this feature ASAP!!! It would also be nice if we could purchase movies/tv shows directly from the app vs having to log on the website every time. The app should be a one stop shop.

I have tried several times to download our movies with no success. This app is terrible. I keep getting an error (AxO3) whenever I attempt to download. Its useless. Out of 10 movies, not one will download. Thank you so much Vudu....

I cant sign into the app. It says Im entering the wrong password. However, I can easily sign in on the web.

I really love using this app to watch my digital movies on my iPhone and on my TV and my Roku. However lately Ive been having issues downloading my movies onto my iPhone so I can watch them online, every time I try to download a movie, it almost immediately says "download failed (0xA3)". Hopefully thisll be fixed soon. Cant take it much longer. The disc-to-digital bar code feature works fine for me so far though.

I use it all the time on my tv and I truly think its a great way to watch movies although I dont like watching movies on my phone but it is GREAT for they tv, Ive used it multiple times with no problem

This app is useful as I have a bunch of content on it through purchases but there are always problems. The latest prevents me from downloading certain movies and shows, with no apparent rhyme or reason. Looking at the other reviews this is shameful.

great app but a tone of bugs that needs fixing the app needs a reworked version for downloading movies and viewing them and it needs the apple tv application for a easier experience viewing them we need more guys fix this app it has potential we need rewind fastforword buttons and a double tap to zoom in feature to keep the movies full screen when vewing them and the downloads need to act like they are downloded fix this app guys please

This app is garbage! Whoever wrote the program needs to go back and rewrite the whole thing. Every time I try scanning it says "disc is not currently eligible for digital". Why not?! I can buy them through the website but cant convert the ones I already own?! Seriously a complete waste of time trying to convert.

Works fine until you want to download movies to take with you. Always gives a failure to download error. Used to work fine.

I have issues downloading to device. I get an error. Only workaround I found was to close the vudu app, delete safari history and cache, open vudu, then re attempt the download again. Its a shame I cant download HD to device. Only stream. This app still needs work. But, nice to have entire collection at my fingertips.
