Vudu - Movies & TV App Reviews

Im supposed to be able to convert my Blu-ray Discs to digital. A great idea. I tried about 15 of my Blu-rays before giving up. Not one of them was recognized. Fix this or delete the feature from the app. Ill gladly switch to he first company that offers this feature at a reasonable price.

You would expect the offline mode to work. Especially if you are trying to travel. With over 200 movies in my library and I cannot download a single one without an error. Guess I will be going back to redeem in iTunes.

Downloads go to 100% then get a 3328:898 error and wont play. Vudu forum shows these error from at least Nov 2016 without resolution. Ive seen no explanation as to what this error actually indicates. Vudu doesnt seem to care.

Cant download any movies. Keep receiving error.

I wish i could organize the movies the way I see fit other than that I love it ?

I mainly use Vudu on my iPad or iPhone when I go on trips. Well, I am going on a trip soon so I decided to download some more movies on my iPad. I am getting an error "0xA3". I can still stream without a problem but I cant do that when I am sitting on an airplane. I spend a ton of money on these movies and it would be nice if I can actually watch them.

I download my movies offline now and I get a message saying theres a download error after I watch a movie and go to download, I have unlimited and an iPhone 6s plus 64 GB so its not the data thats the error, its like the software or something like (download error 0xA3) could this be fixed?

This product could be great if it actually did what it claims to do. I signed up with Vudu hoping to be able to share my movies with my son who lives quite a ways away, and I was hoping that he would be able to share his with me since we have similar taste in movies. When we first signed up it worked and then all of a sudden if a weeks later it just quit it let me have access to the movies I had already seen in his account but nothing more. Now if I want want to watch some of his movies I actually have to log into his account on a separate device from any of my others so that it wont mess with my own account. If they could get this glitch fixed this program could be really great but until then Im giving it a one star because their advertising lies.

Just like mentioned in previous reviews (apparently these dont get read by the developers), when traveling internationally, the movies that I own and have downloaded to my iPad have not been able to be played because I am unable to log in if I am outside the US. Its fine if I cant stream videos outside the US but Id at least like to be able to watch the videos that I have downloaded to my device (which are taking up GBs of space!). When in the US, this app seems to work fine, but please at least let me log in outside the country (or just dont log me out so frequently and let me stay logged in)

First of all, please allow in app purchases. Second of all, let me download in whichever quality of video I want.. The android app is fantastic! Please fix it.

The App should be able to show the price of the Movies, and Tv shows instead of going to the website I find this of waste of time. The captions has a delay not accurate like Netflix.

I dont normally rate apps, but I felt I have to on this one. I would have given this 5 stars a month ago, but then I started having issues. I am not able to download my movies anymore. Ive never had problems with the scanning barcodes for disc to digital. I have had no issue with watching downloaded movies while in airplane mode or with cell data turned off. Every other issue that other have said they had had never been a problem for me. As I said though, about a month ago I started having issues with downloading movies. It gives me an error code and just says download failed. Ive tried looking the code up with no success. Ive tried doing any and everything that is possible to fix the issue. I have even put in two different help request emails to vudu with NO RESPONSE from them other than the auto populating "we have received you request and will get back with you" response. Absolutely no help from customer support is very frustrating. I paid for these movies and I would like to watch them when and how I want. If I could get some help with my problems and actually download my movies as I am supposed to be able to then I would rate this 5 stars as there is no other app that is as well done to view your Ultraviolet movies as this one.

I have been using Vudu for quite awhile and have over 60 movies in My Vudu. With the current version it has become impossible to download any movies even the recent additions. Every attempt to download produces an immediate error message regardless of whether Im on my phone or iPad. Extremely infuriating.

Disc to digital does not work on any device. Always get the same error to try again.

Messy app. Disc to digital doesnt work. It says Im not in the location of my billing address when I am. Wants your location on always which is scetch for a movie app. Please fix issues!!

1. Downloads frequently "fail" with an obscure error code 2. Even when downloads work, you need an internet connection to begin playback 3. Offline play is limited to standard definition

Either get serious about competing with quality apps like amazon video and Netflix or stop wasting our time. Also, airplay performance is terrible. Missing support for captions while using AirPlay. Missing a native Apple TV app. Missing fast forward and rewind controls and gestures.

Ugh

The whole point of digital movies is to have across all platforms. So you make apps for iPhone and Tablet but happened to Apple TV.

Movie will download to about 90% then I get an error message. Have tried multiple times. Disappointed.
