Every time I try and watch a movie, that I own on blu ray, Im astonished by how poor the picture quality is, when compared the the disk. Its not that it unwatchable, its just that it looks bad by comparison. The colors are flat and muddy and theres noticeable pixelation. I guess its fine for small mobile devices, but not for large Tvs. Hollywood is pushing digital movies, but until the quality is on par with blu ray, Ill ONLY use this service to store the free digital copies. I just cant recommend buying digital only movies at this time, therefore I cant recommend using vudu, except for storing your free digital copies.

It has the same movies as H... (privacy reasons) and movies I never heard of. I hope it has better. It plays the purchased movie fine so Im happy. Still prefers H... and Ne..... Thanks anyway. :)

Honestly VUDU, what in the hell are you doing? I cannot even open this app on my ipad. Do you even have anyone working on fixes or bugs for this app? Never mind, Ill go back to Netflix and Fandango and all the others as they ALWAYS works on my iPad.

????????????? READ THIS REVIEW, please save yourself some hassle! ????????????? This app is worthless anyways, but VUDU has become nothing but a waste of money and time. I think they do this on purpose, please read on before you purchase their movies. You pay a set fee to rent a movie, but you get the rental for 48 hours after you start the movie, but it literally takes double the movie time to actually get it to play. Its constantly buffering then the error crap shows up. Its like to watch a 1 and 1/2 hour movie it takes 3, constantly all the da@# time. Makes me mad! Ive tried every single thing I read online to try to fix it, and I even called my internet provider. But none of my other movie apps do this at all! Not even crackle or tubi tv. I thought VUDU was going to awesome with the early releases and all the good movies, I dont mind paying for any of the movies, but its literally like throwing my money down the toilet. So far I believe I at least lost $45 on movies that I cant watch, rentals or the ones I own. So if you like to flush your money down the commode then this service is perfect for you. This should be called DUDU?, not VUDU. Im sure thats why they do 48 hour rentals since they know its going to do this to people and they are going to put it off til the next day and it will happen again, then you have to buy the rental again cause your 48 hours are up. I also have learned that Im not the only one with the problem, Im learning that its a big issue. I will be in the process of getting each and every since penny I spent on these movies back. Its not right, its no different than fraud. Oh also, you wont get any help from any VUDU sources, weather it be calling or using their support on their website. This review is long, I know, but its important to get it out there. I dont feel they should be in business anymore.

Linked up a few accounts to Vudu, and I cant download any of them in HD. This should not be a thing in 2017....

I live in a home with both iOS and android devices. This is a service where all devises can access digital movies. Prices are comparable with other services. For a small fee you can actually get high def digital copies of DVDs. The only downside is some studios do not participate in disk to digital so you cant make digital copies of those. Other then that a great app that I would recommend to anyone moving from physical media.

It fails to scan barcodes and it requires GPS at all times, not only when the app is running

I love this app, but I recently switched my phone from an iPhone 5s to a iPhone 6s plus and the Bluetooth for my headphone along with the connectivity of this app isnt that great, anyway this could be fixed?

You need to go to the website to purchase movies. I understand that inconvenience but the video control while using my chromecast is just a play/pause or whole time seek slider. Not a great experience if you want to rewatch a scene or listen to the great one liner again. I havent had an issue with the quality of the SD video stream and speed.

The AirPlay function used to work so well. Please fix this. Other than that I guess its ok. Why dont you make an TV app?

Doesnt work worth a crap. Scanning barcode for disc to digital doesnt recognize ANYTHING - even though searching for the titles on the website indicates they are available...

Tried multiple times to airplay and every time I try it I get air code 11800, movie unavailable; with no guidance or troubleshooting to understand what that actually means. Im assuming that Walmarts licensing agreement with these movies to disc to digital is for watching through their platform only and will not allow watching on the Apple TV due to HDCP

i tired logging in the app but it doesnt have the option to sign in with facebook, which is how i created my account. i tried resetting the password but even that didnt work. please fix.

I love vudu and its the only video service I use to purchase movies, but it makes no sense that content can not be purchased in app. Please change this in future

Not being able to rent a movie in the app is so ridiculously stupid that it boggles my mind.

It doesnt work. It either ends with an error or tells me my location doesnt match my billing address which isnt true. Super disappointed as I was excited to try it out.

When I was still login to my account could not watch anything. After the update cant even login. Works good on Android Nook Tablet.

No support the app never works signing is a hassle waste of money
